Story
This was my entry for July 2005’s special Joke Contest for DoD. The music is the “death theme” from Rygar. If memory serves, Shizzie PingoSimon suggested that someone should cover the death theme from the game, so I did, setting to it some deep, symbolic lyrics that would put Maynard James Keenan to shame. Actually, what happens in Rygar is throughout the game you’ll go into doors occupied by hermits, one of whom simply tells you “Fight! Fight! Fight!” So I overlaid that over the melody.
Interesting stuff:
- This song is entirely a capella!
- I was going for an Aussie/British type of accent on the “Fight! Fight! Fight!”s.
- Not related to the song per se, but the left image on the banner of this site actually comes from the game Rygar (Or more precisely, my speedrun of the game).
