So…Now What?

This site went up and running in October 2007, with an agreement for 2 years with my hosting service. I had big plans for it at the time, mostly revolving around my music. This hasn’t quite worked out the way I had hoped, mainly because of one frustration after another foiling my best efforts to actually release music at something resembling a professional level (First my old computer started going on the fritz, then I realized that this one didn’t have the proper slot for my sound card, then found out that apparently adapters don’t work on this computer either). Given these setbacks, one would think that re-upping for a further 3-year commitment to the site would not be the smartest idea.

You don’t know me very well.

So now I have this site, with (In theory, anyway) more disc space and bandwidth than I know what to do with until about September 2012..and nothing to do with it at the moment. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to throw them out. I’ve actually considered doing a webcomic, but I’m not sure if this is such a good idea because A. Whatever talents I was blessed with, artistic talent is definitely not one of them, and B. Knowing me, I’d quickly lose interest in it before it had a chance to get up to speed.

In other news, I’m back in a StarCraft mode again, as happens occasionally. I’m still awful at it, if you’re curious.

Man, I know the feeling of realizing that your projects are really not going according to what was planned :(

This website is really neat for your songs and speedruns and maybe with all that space to spare, it might motivate you at some point to do more!

That extra space might be handy if you’re planning to do a collab on a run or a song and you would need to share some files to show the progress made in said project.

Whatever you do, it would kill me to see you abandonning what I’ve known you to be passionnate about : Music (bass), games, speedruns and sharing bits of knoledge with others!

Yeah, with the music stuff, I got tired for the moment of continually banging my head against the wall trying to get stuff to work. Technology, ain’t it wonderful?

As for the other stuff, I picked another game to try to speedrun, though who knows how that will go. Not that I think I can’t do it, but I fianlly just up and bought another A/V cable for my XBOX 360, so I’ll be distracted with the games for that I haven’t gotten to play yet, heh.

Nice dude, I can’t wait to see if you’re gonna pull it off!

As for a speedrun, I’m practicing on a game and if I can beat the time on Twin Galaxies, I’ll buy the gear to record it…(In which I’ll probably come to ask you how it works because I have no clue hehe)
